FAQ

What does Biblical Hebrew Pro include?

The free tier gives you the top 1,000 most-frequent BHS lemmas in flashcard form, plus the Vocab and Stems quiz modes — enough to cover the bulk of the Hebrew Bible by word frequency. Premium unlocks the full 7,486-lemma corpus down to the hapax legomena, spaced-repetition (SRS) mode, the Paradigm / Suffix / Verb Parsing quizzes, and cross-device sync.

How do I upgrade to Premium?

Open the app, go to Settings → Upgrade to Premium, and choose Lifetime ($49.99 one-time), Annual ($24.99/year), or Monthly ($4.99/month). All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Open the app, go to Settings → Upgrade to Premium → Restore Purchases. As long as you are signed in to the same Apple ID that made the original purchase, your premium access will be restored.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, choose Biblical Hebrew Pro, and tap Cancel. Your premium access stays active until the end of the current billing period.

What about refunds?

Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple at their discretion. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Lifetime purchases are non-recurring; we recommend trying Monthly first if you're unsure.

Does my study progress sync across devices?

Yes — for premium users. The app uses an anonymous account, so sync works automatically across devices that share the same install state. Free users can study on multiple devices, but progress is kept locally on each.

What sources is the vocabulary based on?

The vocabulary corpus is built from the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (BHS) lemma list, ordered by frequency. Paradigm and parsing data follow standard Biblical Hebrew grammars used in seminary instruction.

I found a typo / a wrong gloss / a parsing bug.
